Columbus Agricultural Pathway is a STEM-focused comprehensive 7 – 12 school in the City of Columbus. Our advanced, career-tech certification and college preparatory courses are tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners. Our Student Success Model encourages students to CREATE, PRESENT, and TAKE ACTION in order to experience maximum success. Columbus Agricultural Pathway students are encouraged to participate in a variety of extra-curricular offerings, as well as serve their community in our many service organizations. The mission of Columbus Agricultural Pathway is to create a rigorous learning community that supports, challenges, and empowers our students to succeed in the 21st century.

CURRICULUM

The curriculum offerings at Columbus Agricultural Pathway are designed for 100% student success. We offer three career-tech certification programs: Agricultural, NCCER, and MOS. We offer foreign language: Spanish. Advanced Placement courses are offered in Environmental Science, US History, Calculus, and English Language and Composition. We also offer a full complement of STEM-focused courses, including Introduction to Engineering, Principles of Engineering, and Robotics.

PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT

A vibrant, active relationship with Columbus Agricultural Pathway’s parent community is vital to our shared success. We have one part-time Family Ambassador who coordinates communication and workshops for our families. WE RISE TOGETHER.

WHAT MAKES OUR SCHOOL OUTSTANDING

The make-up of our student body reflects the diversity apparent in the larger context of our wonderful city, Columbus, Ohio. The most-recent Class of 2018 received over $2 million dollars in scholarships. Columbus Agricultural Pathway alumni have graduated from the most prestigious colleges and universities in our nation, including the military academies. Several graduates have attained national recognition as Gates Millennium Scholars. Our graduates consistently receive recognition and awards on the local, state, and national level in both academics and athletics. The Columbus Agricultural Pathway Athletic Department has a rich history in multiple sports, including basketball and track and field. The music departments at Columbus Agricultural Pathway offer multiple opportunities for public performances, whether as a choir member or playing an instrument in the marching band.

Columbus Agricultural Pathway’s staff are highly qualified, committed to 21st century learning, and promoters of life-long learning. Emphasis is placed on the delivery of a rigorous curriculum, relevance through the application of new knowledge to real-world situations, and building relationships through a culture of mutual esteem, caring, and success.

WHERE WE ARE LOCATED

Columbus Agricultural Pathway is located on the north side of the City of Columbus, east of Interstate 71, off of Cleveland Avenue at 1320 Duxberry Avenue.
